Two Killed, One Seriously Injured in Alleged Stolen Motorcycle Crash
Three young people were riding a motorcycle early Thursday morning.
Police said the motorcycle had been stolen.
At about 3:30 a.m., the rider lost control.
It hit another motorcycle coming from the opposite direction.
The motorcycle then crashed onto the road.
Rinshad and Sabeel died in the accident.
Shijas was badly hurt and taken to a hospital.
The two people on the other motorcycle had minor injuries.
Police said the three young people were not wearing helmets and were traveling quickly.
Rinshad and Sabeel of Manancheri died in the crash at Kaichoondmukku.
Their passenger, Shijas, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Alappuzha Medical College Hospital.
Police said the accident occurred around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday while the motorcycle was traveling at high speed.
The motorcycle reportedly hit another motorcycle coming from the opposite direction before crashing onto the road.
Police said none of the three riders wore helmets, while the other motorcycle’s occupants suffered minor injuries.
