GCC Reviews 2025-26 Progress, Aims to Meet Remaining Targets
The Girijan Cooperative Corporation (GCC) held a meeting to check how well they're doing this year.
They've made more money than last year, but they still have a lot to do to meet their goals.
They want to buy more coffee and help coffee farmers more.
Some things they sell more of, like daily-use items, but some things they sell less of, like essential commodities.
GCC achieved ₹24,048.59 lakh by November 2025, 102% of last year's progress
Remaining target for the year is ₹37,967.43 lakh
Coffee procurement target for the year is 1,175 metric tonnes
Procurement prices fixed at ₹450/kg for Arabica Parchment, ₹270/kg for Arabica Cherry, ₹170/kg for Robusta Cherry
Review highlighted gains in forest product procurement, sales of daily-use items, and financial assistance to coffee farmers
