Samsung Wallet to Add Biometric UPI Payments in December
Samsung Wallet is getting an upgrade so you can pay for small things using your phone's fingerprint or face scan instead of typing a secret code.
This will start in December.
It's like how some special payment apps already let you pay without a PIN for small amounts.
Samsung is also planning to make it easier to set up your payment account when you get a new phone next year.
Soon, you might also be able to use your credit or debit cards online directly from Samsung Wallet without typing in all the numbers.
This is all about making payments quicker and simpler for Samsung phone users.
Samsung Wallet will introduce biometric UPI payments using fingerprint and face recognition starting in December.
This feature will eliminate the need for PIN entry for small-ticket UPI transactions.
New Samsung smartphones sold from early next year will include a UPI account onboarding feature.
Samsung Wallet will soon support direct online usage of stored credit and debit cards.
The enhancements aim to improve user convenience and transaction speed.
