AAP Launches Punjab 2027 Campaign, Pledging Record-Based Re-Election Bid

The Aam Aadmi Party, which governs Punjab, has started preparing for the state election in 2027.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said the party would talk about the work it has already done.

He said AAP would not mainly depend on making new promises.

The party released an election pamphlet at a meeting in Ludhiana.

Starting Sunday, thousands of workers will visit homes across Punjab.

AAP plans to discuss issues such as roads, electricity, schools, jobs, farmers and sports.

Manish Sisodia said the central government was making it harder for Punjab’s government to work.

The central government did not immediately respond to that accusation.

Sisodia also made a claim about drugs coming from BJP-ruled states, but the claim was not independently verified.

AAP is trying to win a second consecutive term in Punjab’s 117-member assembly.
