WBSSC: Applications Open for Teacher Posts After Long Hiatus
The West Bengal school service commission has started accepting applications for teaching jobs again after a long time.
Many people have already signed up and started applying.
Current teachers will get extra points based on how long they've been teaching.
There were some technical delays, but the process is now running, and the deadline is in July.
The court's decision on the OBC reservation won't interfere with the application process.
Over 1,000 candidates applied for teaching positions within 24 hours of the application link going live.
More than 10,000 candidates have registered on the application link.
The application process opened after a nine-year hiatus due to litigations.
In-service teachers will receive marks for prior teaching experience.
The Calcutta High Court's order on OBC reservation will not affect the application process.
