UP to Launch System to Monitor Urban Infrastructure Projects
The Uttar Pradesh government is creating a new system to keep track of all the work being done to improve cities.
This includes projects like building roads, parks, and better drainage.
The system will monitor projects worth ₹3,500 crore in towns with populations between 1 lakh and 10 lakh.
Engineers will report on how projects are going, making sure everything is done well and on time.
The goal is to make cities better managed and more efficient.
The urban development department is developing a Scheme Monitoring System (SMS).
The SMS will monitor civil projects under CM schemes and infrastructure projects.
Projects include roads, footpaths, and green spaces across 762 urban bodies.
The system will monitor projects with a ₹3,500 crore budget.
Engineers are directed to complete works on time and with high quality.
