Bengaluru to Launch e-Khata Mobile App for Property Owners
Imagine you need a digital record for your property in Bengaluru.
Right now, you go online or to a center.
Soon, the city is launching an app!
This new app, which is based on the existing website, will let you apply for an e-Khata (a property document) right from your phone.
To use it, you'll need things like your property's sale information, ID proof, and a recent electricity bill.
This app will help the city manage property records better, making things easier and faster for everyone.
The city has already issued about 750,000 e-Khatas and hopes the app will speed things up even more.
The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) is launching a mobile app for e-Khata services.
The app aims to make property document services faster and more accessible.
Applicants will be able to apply using their smartphones.
Required documents include property sale deed, tax receipts, and other identification.
The new app is expected to boost digital property service usage.
