Burnham to begin UK tour with cost of living measures

The leader of the UK, Prime Minister Andy Burnham, is going on a trip around the country to talk to people and listen to their problems.

He wants to announce new rules that make life easier for people who are struggling to pay for everyday things.

The government says these rules will help stop companies from tricking customers with hidden prices.

Burnham also wants to make town centres, called high streets, nicer places to visit.

He is working on a big ten-year plan to give people hope.

At the same time, there is a difficult situation in UK prisons because they are almost completely full.

A plan to let some prisoners out early is going to start in October.

Some people are upset because even people who committed serious crimes might be let out.

The government says it cannot make the rules too strict because the prisons would run out of room.

Meanwhile, other political leaders say the government should do even more to help with the cost of living.
