Trinamool Leader Shot in Premeditated Attack
A leader named Debabrata Mondal from the Trinamool party and his friend Anupam Rana were shot on their way back from a wedding.
The person who shot them, Suman alias Basu Chaudhury, was part of a business group with Mondal.
They had a fight over money, and Chaudhury planned the attack.
He waited for Mondal to return from the wedding and then shot him.
Six bullets were fired, and two are still inside Mondal's body.
Rana was also hurt but is recovering.
The police are looking for Chaudhury and his friends.
Chaudhury has been in trouble with the police before and was recently released on bail.
