Apple’s Mac Mini M6 Brings More Power, Higher Costs
Apple has launched a more powerful Mac Mini called the Mac Mini M6.
It uses a new M6 chip designed to handle demanding tasks such as artificial intelligence, graphics, and video editing.
The computer starts at Rs 99,900 in India, making it much more expensive than the earlier M4 model.
It comes as only a small desktop box, so buyers usually need to provide their own screen, keyboard, and mouse.
People who already have these accessories may spend less.
AI developers and creative professionals could benefit most from its performance.
People moving from Windows can also use their existing monitor and accessories.
Families can connect it to a television for home computing.
The main question is whether the extra performance is worth the higher total cost.
The Mac Mini M6 starts at Rs 99,900 in India, up from roughly Rs 60,000 for the previous M4 model.
Apple’s new 2nm M6 chip includes a 12-core CPU, 12-core GPU, and dedicated Neural Accelerators.
The computer starts with 16GB unified memory and a 256GB SSD, with memory configurable up to 32GB.
Apple positions the Mac Mini M6 for AI developers, game developers, designers, existing Mac users, and power users.
Buyers may need an additional Rs 25,000 to Rs 40,000 for a display, keyboard, and mouse.
