Supreme Court to Hear PIL on Protest Venue and Organisers
The Supreme Court of India decided to look into a complaint about a protest that happened on July 20.
People are saying the organisers of the protest might have helped a leak of a big exam called NEET.
The court will also think about whether a big open space called Jantar Mantar is a good place for protests because it can be hard for people to get in and out.
Three judges, led by Chief Justice Surya Kant, will listen to the arguments.
A lawyer named Rizwan Ahmed said the organisers are still stirring trouble even though the government helped them.
The court will decide what should happen next.
Supreme Court agreed to hear a PIL on July 20 Parliament march organisers over alleged NEET leak.
The bench will also consider a separate PIL asking that Jantar Mantar not be used for protests.
Three-judge panel led by Chief Justice Surya Kant, with Justices Joymalya Bagchi and V Mohana.
Advocate Rizwan Ahmed argued organisers are fanning the fire despite government generosity.
The case involves clashes with Delhi Police during the July 20 protest.
