Cash-Rich UTI AMC Keeps Rewarding Shareholders with 4.4% Dividend Yield

Cash-Rich UTI AMC Keeps Rewarding Shareholders with 4.4% Dividend Yield

UTI Asset Management Company, or UTI AMC, is an Indian company that helps people save and invest their money in things like mutual funds and retirement plans.

The company is special because it does not need to spend very much money on buildings or machines to run its business.

That means most of the profit it earns can be paid back to the people who own parts of the company, which are called shareholders.

These payments are known as dividends.

In the financial year 2026, UTI AMC paid 40 rupees per share as a dividend, which worked out to a 4.4% dividend yield.

The company takes care of a gigantic sum of money, over 20 lakh crore rupees, but a big part of that money earns only tiny fees.

Because of this, the company's profit has grown slowly, only about 2.4% each year over the last three years.

Still, it has lots of cash savings and no debt, so it can keep paying big dividends.

Many stock analysts believe UTI AMC will continue to reward its shareholders with large payouts in the future.
