Jailer 2 Release Date Confirmed Amid Delay Rumours
Jailer 2 is a new Tamil action movie starring Rajinikanth.
The makers say it will come to theatres on October 15, and one report says the year is 2026.
They shared this news on September 2 with a new poster.
The announcement was made after people heard rumours that the movie might be delayed.
Some reports connected those rumours to possible reshoots and concerns about parts of the film.
The movie is planned for the Dussehra holiday season, when many people may go to cinemas.
Rajinikanth will play Tiger Muthuvel Pandian again.
Nelson Dilipkumar is returning as director.
The film is a sequel to the 2023 movie Jailer.
Sun Pictures confirmed that Rajinikanth-starrer Jailer 2 will release in theatres on October 15, with one report specifying 2026.
The confirmation was posted on September 2 alongside a new poster of Rajinikanth holding a gun.
The announcement followed rumours of a delay, reportedly linked to speculation about reshoots and Rajinikanth’s dissatisfaction with some scenes.
