Andhra Pradesh to Launch India's First Human-Carrier Drone Ambulance
Andhra Pradesh is going to launch India's first drone ambulance that can carry people.
This special drone will help people who are hurt or sick and need to get to the hospital quickly.
The drone can fly high and fast, and it can carry a person who weighs up to 150kg.
The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu, came up with this idea.
Experts like G. Satheesh Reddy and Prof K Senthil Kumar are helping to make this drone.
The drone will be able to fly without someone always watching it, and it will have robots to help keep people safe.
The first test of the drone will happen in May.
Andhra Pradesh also wants to build a big place for drones in Vijayawada.
This will help the state become a leader in using drones for healthcare.
Andhra Pradesh is launching India's first human-carrier drone ambulance to revolutionize emergency medical services.
The drone is designed to operate at an altitude of 1,200 feet, carry a payload of up to 150kg, and cruise at 50–60 kmph.
The project is guided by former DRDO chairman G. Satheesh Reddy and developed in collaboration with the Kalam Advanced UAV Research Centre (CASR) at Anna University, Chennai.
