Specially-Abled Passenger Dies After Alleged Push From Mumbai Local

A 62-year-old man named Kejitan Pal Denis Piris was travelling on a Mumbai local train.

He was in a coach reserved for passengers with disabilities.

Police said he argued with another passenger about sitting space.

The argument allegedly became a physical fight.

Piris fell from the moving train between Mahim and Bandra.

He was taken to Bhabha Hospital, but he later died.

Other passengers reportedly stopped Amjad Safriddin Shaikh and handed him to police.

Shaikh reportedly said he was chasing a crow and pushed Piris accidentally, but police registered a murder case and are investigating.
