CMS College Appoints First Woman Principal in 208 Years
CMS College, the oldest college in Kerala, has a new Principal!
For the first time ever, a woman named Anju Sosn George will lead the college.
She was already working at the college and is now the head.
Her father used to work at the college too!
The church that runs the college believes in women leaders and wanted the best person for the job, which is why George was chosen.
She wants to make the college even better by adding new centers to help students.
CMS College in Kottayam appointed its first woman Principal in its 208-year history.
Anju Sosn George, former Principal-in-Charge, now holds the position.
Her father was previously the Head of the History Department at the same college.
George joined CMS College in 2007 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English.
She plans to establish a business innovation center, a research center, and a media center.
