CBI Arrests Hisar Accused in Southeast Asia Cyber-Slavery Network

The CBI arrested a man named Ankit from Hisar.

He is accused of helping send people to scam centers in Southeast Asia.

The people were allegedly promised good overseas jobs.

Instead, they were taken mainly to compounds in Myanmar and Cambodia.

The CBI says they were forced to work in online scams, a situation called cyber slavery.

Some victims reportedly had to pay money or find replacement workers before they could leave.

Investigators found possible evidence on a phone and are checking cryptocurrency payments.

They are also examining how Instagram and Telegram were used to recruit and contact people.
