Bangla Sahib Committee Files Complaint Against AAP Leaders
The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee filed a police complaint against AAP leaders, including Arvind Kejriwal.
It says people linked to AAP brought banners and shouted political slogans at Bangla Sahib while trying to reach a protest at Jantar Mantar.
The committee says demonstrations should not happen inside the gurdwara.
AAP leaders and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said police entered the gurdwara while dealing with protesters.
Delhi Police said officers in a video were in a passage leading to the place where people take off their shoes, not the main prayer area.
DSGMC president Harmeet Singh Kalka said police did not enter the Darbar Hall, but should not have entered in uniform.
The committee also accused AAP leaders of sharing misleading videos.
The competing accounts of what happened at the gurdwara remain disputed.
The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee filed a police complaint on October 11 against AAP leaders, including Arvind Kejriwal, over alleged protest activity at Bangla Sahib.
The committee alleged AAP-linked protesters displayed banners and raised political slogans at the gurdwara while trying to reach Jantar Mantar for anti-CEC demonstrations.
DSGMC accused AAP leaders of circulating misleading or selective videos; the complaint asked police to identify those involved and investigate who organised their entry.
