WCD Leverages Digital Platforms for Grievance Redressal
The Ministry of Women and Child Development (WCD) uses digital tools to help people with their complaints.
They received many complaints through a system called CPGRAMS and solved most of them.
They also have a helpline (181) that helps women, and a helpline (1098) for children in trouble.
They use an app to track nutrition programs and have started using facial recognition to make sure food reaches the right people.
They also have a dedicated call center for any problems related to their schemes.
WCD Ministry utilizes digital platforms for public grievance redressal.
15,761 grievances were received through CPGRAMS between August 1, 2023, and July 31, 2025.
414 cases were carried forward, and 15,782 grievances were resolved.
