Austrian Entrepreneur Praises India’s Progress, Warns of Rising Costs
Bergthaler says India has changed a lot and made impressive progress.
He believes the country is now more global and has better technology and business opportunities.
However, he says some basic needs, such as clean air, clean water, healthy food, and privacy, are still problems.
He also thinks people are eating less healthily and exercising less.
In his view, social media has shortened attention spans and made conversations less deep.
He says many relationships and services now feel like business deals.
Workplaces may use modern technology, but old-fashioned hierarchies remain.
He does not think India is going backward, but he believes its progress has brought serious costs and pressures.
Austrian entrepreneur Bergthaler said India offers extensive business opportunities and has made significant progress.
He argued that clean air, water, organic food, privacy, and healthier lifestyles remain insufficient for many people.
Bergthaler said relationships, health, education, and friendship increasingly feel transactional and driven by return on investment.
He said India has become more global and technologically advanced, while traditional workplace hierarchies remain.
According to Bergthaler, business in India is now larger and more professional but also more competitive, demanding, and expensive.
