Supriya Sule Advocates 33% Women's Quota
Supriya Sule, a member of the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar), wants the government to give 33% of the seats in Parliament to women.
She says her group, the INDIA bloc, doesn't want this to be connected to a process called delimitation, which changes the number of seats in different areas.
Sule also mentioned that her party hasn't talked to anyone about delimitation yet.
She wants the government to invite all parties in the INDIA bloc together for discussions, not one by one.
A bill about this failed to pass earlier because it didn't get enough votes.
Sule also said there are no fights within her party, and everyone supports Sharad Pawar.
The next big meeting of Parliament is from July 20 to August 13.
Supriya Sule advocates for a 33% reservation for women in Parliament.
The INDIA bloc demands the 33% reservation without linking it to delimitation.
NCP(SP) has not held discussions with anyone regarding delimitation.
