Mass Varalakshmi Vratham Held at Dokiparru Mahakshetram Temple
A special religious ceremony called Varalakshmi Vratham was held at a temple in Dokiparru.
It took place on the last Friday of the holy Sravana month.
Many women came to join the prayers.
The temple gave them the needed puja materials for free.
Vedic scholars explained why the ceremony is important.
They offered blessings for women’s well-being and prosperity.
Other rituals, including a Lakshmi Yagam and Maha Shanti Homam, were also performed.
Food was served to devotees afterward.

The two-hour ritual began at 6 p.m., with many women devotees participating.
Temple authorities distributed puja materials and required offerings to devotees free of cost.
A Lakshmi Yagam, Maha Shanti Homam and annadanam were also conducted as part of the celebrations.
Sri Krishnashtami celebrations included special pujas, Abhishekams and a traditional Utti Kottadam ceremony.
