Chinese Humanoid Robot Takes Center Stage at Ujjain Shop Opening
A sandwich shop in Ujjain invited a robot instead of a human chief guest.
The robot was dressed up and brought to the opening with security guards.
It waved at people and danced for them.
Many spectators watched because the event was unusual.
The robot appears to have been made by a Chinese company called Unitree.
Reports say an Indian company may have given it a new name, but this has not been independently confirmed.
Robots are becoming more common in factories and warehouses.
However, they still cannot reliably do every task that people can do in the real world.
