Toyota to Release Next-Gen Supra Independent of BMW?
Toyota is planning a new Supra, their sports car.
Unlike the current one, which was made with help from BMW, the new Supra will be all Toyota.
It's expected to come out around 2027.
The new car might have a hybrid engine with a turbocharger, aiming for close to 400 horsepower.
It could even run on electricity for short distances.
Toyota is also looking into using fuels that don't harm the environment, which would be a big change for the car.
They are considering different types of automatic transmissions too.
Toyota is reportedly developing a next-generation Supra independently.
The new Supra is expected to launch around 2027.
The current Supra was co-developed with BMW.
The new Supra may feature a 2.0-liter turbocharged hybrid powertrain.
Toyota is evaluating the use of carbon-neutral fuels.
