West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari Pitches Investment, Promises Business Reforms

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari asked companies to invest in the state.

He said the government is preparing new rules for industry and land use.

The government also plans to offer incentives to investors.

Adhikari said more factories and projects could create jobs for educated young people.

He claimed that many workers from West Bengal currently work outside the state.

He said land would be given to 33 projects soon.

A 2,000-bed hospital backed by the Adani Group is expected to begin with a foundation-stone ceremony on September 24.

He also said he would meet the Ambani family about development work.

Adhikari promised to stop alleged extortion and cut-money practices affecting businesses.
