MPIDC Returns Developed Plots to Farmers in Pithampur
The MP Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) has given back developed commercial plots to farmers in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh.
These plots are part of a big project costing Rs.
452 crore.
The farmers got their land taken for this project, and in return, they receive money and plots.
On Tuesday, 6 farmers got 47 new plots.
Some farmers asked for plots in different places, and others will get theirs through a lottery.
The goal is to help the farmers get their plots quickly and to speed up the building of new homes in the area.
MPIDC returned developed commercial plots to farmers in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh.
The project, costing Rs. 452 crore, is being developed under the Madhya Pradesh Investment Area Development Rules.
Farmers receive twice the Collector's guideline rate as compensation, with 20% in cash and 80% in developed plots.
On Tuesday, 6 out of 14 invited landowners were allotted 47 commercial plots worth Rs. 47 crore.
Remaining landowners will receive plots through a lottery system or at other locations as requested.
