Jr NTR Undergoes Arthroscopic Shoulder Surgery at KIMS Hospitals
Jr NTR is a very famous movie actor in India who recently had surgery on his shoulder.
The special kind of surgery he had is called arthroscopic shoulder surgery.
The doctors did it at KIMS Hospitals in Secunderabad.
They used a tiny camera and very small cuts, so it is less painful than big surgery.
Jr NTR said on an app called X that the surgery went well and he is feeling fine.
But doctors say feeling better does not mean the shoulder is completely healed.
The parts inside the shoulder can take many months to get strong again, sometimes close to a year.
Doing too much too soon can hurt the shoulder again.
So Jr NTR must do special exercises and wait until his doctors say he is ready.
Following the doctors' advice is the best way to get better safely.
Jr NTR underwent arthroscopic shoulder surgery at KIMS Hospitals in Secunderabad after consulting a team of medical specialists.
The actor said on X that the procedure was successful and he was doing well, thanking his doctors, family, friends and fans.
Experts caution that small incisions do not mean fast healing, as tissues beneath the surface can take months to recover.
Research on arthroscopic rotator-cuff repair shows roughly 74-75% of eventual pain improvement by three months, with functional recovery taking up to about a year in some patients.
Senior orthopaedic consultant Dr Amit Priyadarshi said rehabilitation is essentially the second half of the surgery and that being pain-free does not mean being fully recovered.
