Coast Guard Air Enclave Planned for Thiruvananthapuram
The Coast Guard is planning to build an air base in Thiruvananthapuram, which will let them quickly send help when there are emergencies at sea, like rescuing people or dealing with pollution.
Currently, help has to come from far away, but with this new base, they'll have helicopters and planes ready to go.
This will help them respond faster to accidents and keep the coast safer.
