PM Modi Inaugurates Delhi Highways to Ease Traffic and Boost NCR Connectivity
Delhi now has new highways, the Dwarka Expressway and UER-II, which cost a lot of money to build.
These highways are supposed to make it easier to get around, especially for people in the Delhi area.
They will also reduce traffic jams and save time for people traveling to work and for farmers and businessmen.
The government is also using waste from landfills to build these highways, to make them more environmentally friendly.
PM Modi inaugurated two major highway projects in Delhi: Dwarka Expressway and UER-II, totaling ₹11,000 crore.
The projects aim to decongest Delhi, improve connectivity, and ease travel for NCR residents.
UER-II is a 54.21km stretch in Delhi, with a total of 76km including the Haryana section, designed as Delhi's third ring road.
The Dwarka Expressway section, a 10.1km project, provides direct access to IGI Airport and connects to UER-II.
The projects include eco-friendly initiatives, such as using waste from the Ghazipur landfill in UER-II construction.
