Delhi Visit Rekindles Karnataka Congress Activity Over Cabinet Changes

Chief Minister D K Shivakumar went to Delhi to discuss matters involving the Karnataka Congress.

This led several Congress leaders and lawmakers to plan meetings with senior party leaders.

More than a dozen lawmakers who did not become ministers want other important roles.

They may ask for positions in the government or on boards and corporations.

Party leaders may also discuss B Nagendra’s resignation.

They could consider expanding the cabinet.

Former minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar said women should have a place in the cabinet.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge said he would comment after meeting Shivakumar.
