Body of 8-Year-Old Girl Recovered After Drowning in Kalu River
Two cousins, Sana (8) and Aliya (18), went to wash clothes in the Kalu River.
Sana's scarf fell into the water.
She went in to get it but got into trouble because the water was deeper than she thought.
Aliya jumped in to help but got swept away by the strong current.
Aliya's body was found quickly.
The search team and local fishermen looked for Sana for two days.
Sadly, Sana's body was found on the riverbank.
The police are investigating this as an accidental death.
