Family Seeks Justice After Passenger Allegedly Pushed From Mumbai Train

Police say two passengers argued on a Mumbai local train.

The argument was reportedly about a seat reserved for people with disabilities.

The argument turned into a physical fight near the train door.

Police allege that Cajetan Denis Peris was pushed from the moving train.

Peris was 62 years old and had previously lost part of his left leg.

The accused, Amajad Safriddin Shaikh, has been placed in police custody until August 27.

Peris’s family wants the accused to receive strict punishment.

The family will hold Peris’s funeral on Saturday.
