Bank Robbery in Vijayapura: ₹21 Crore Looted
A group of armed robbers targeted an SBI bank in Vijayapura on Tuesday.
They entered the bank during closing hours, held up employees and customers, and stole about ₹1 crore in cash and gold ornaments valued around ₹20 crore.
The robbers escaped in a van with a fake number plate towards Maharashtra.
Police have formed special teams to find the robbers and recover the stolen items.
Customers who had pledged their gold at the bank are concerned.
