Nadeem Meghji to Leave Blackstone’s Global Real Estate Leadership

Nadeem Meghji to Leave Blackstone’s Global Real Estate Leadership

Nadeem Meghji is leaving Blackstone at the end of the year.

He has worked at the company for 18 years and led its worldwide real estate business.

That business manages more than $600 billion in property investments.

Blackstone said Meghji wants to spend time with his young family before deciding what to do next.

David Levine and Giovanni Cutaia will share leadership of the real estate unit after he leaves.

Meghji helped Blackstone buy and expand many kinds of properties.

These included apartments, life-science offices and affordable housing.

His departure comes after several other senior real estate executives also left the firm.
