India to consider 114 Rafale jets deal
India is thinking about buying 114 Rafale fighter jets from France.
This deal is worth a lot of money, around ₹3.25 lakh crore.
Most of these jets will be made in India, and they will have some parts made in India too.
India also wants to add its own weapons and systems to these jets.
This is important because it will make India's air force stronger and help India make more of its own defence equipment.
France might also set up a place in Hyderabad to fix and maintain the jet engines.
India already has 36 Rafale jets and is planning to get more, making it the biggest defence deal ever for India.
