Sun Pharma Shares Drop After US FDA Action
Sun Pharma's shares fell by over 3% today.
This happened because the US FDA, which checks medicines, said that one of Sun Pharma's factories in Baska is not following all the rules.
The factory is called Official Action Indicated (OAI).
Sun Pharma is still making and sending medicines from this factory to the US.
They plan to work with the FDA to fix the problems.
The company's stock has been going down for a while, but it's still higher than it was a few months ago.
Many people are buying and selling Sun Pharma's shares today, and the total value of the company has decreased.
Sun Pharma shares fell 3.23% to Rs 1736.95 after US FDA action on Baska facility.
US FDA classified the Baska facility as Official Action Indicated (OAI) after an inspection from 8 September 2025 to 19 September 2025.
Sun Pharma continues to manufacture and supply approved products from the facility to the US market.
