Odisha Farmers Clash with Police Over Paddy Procurement Registration
Farmers in a district called Bargarh in India were trying to get registered to sell their harvested rice, which is called paddy.
They wanted to go to the government office to make sure their names were on the list.
But the police stopped them, and there was a little fight.
The farmers were unhappy because a meeting about selling the rice was cancelled, and they felt many farmers were not being allowed to sign up.
The head of the district's government office said the meeting was postponed because of an election happening nearby.
He also said they sent the farmers' names to a higher government office to decide what to do.
