India's 2025 Economic Growth Revised Upward
The United Nations has updated its predictions for India's economy.
They now think India will grow by 7.4% in 2025 and 6.6% in 2026.
This is good news because it's higher than they thought before.
The growth is happening because people are buying more things and the government is investing a lot.
Even though there are some worries, like higher taxes from the US, India's economy is still doing well.
The UN also said that the world economy will grow a little bit in 2025 and 2026, but not as much as before the pandemic.
India is one of the countries that is doing well because of strong domestic demand.
The UN revised India's 2025 economic growth forecast to 7.4%, up from 6.3% in September.
India's 2026 growth projection was raised to 6.6%, supported by resilient consumption and strong public investment.
Higher US tariffs may impact select product categories, but key export segments are expected to remain largely unaffected.
Global growth forecasts for 2025 and 2026 were revised upwards to 2.8% and 2.7%, respectively.
India's economy is projected to continue solid growth, driven by resilient domestic demand and targeted policy measures.
