Chouhan's Security Upgraded Month After ISI Threat
Shivraj Singh Chouhan, a big leader in India, had a threat from a spy group in Pakistan.
The government found out about this threat on November 12 but only made his security stronger on December 12.
This delay made some people worried.
Chouhan has a lot of security people protecting him, but some say the delay shows the government is not doing a good job.
There were times when people got too close to his car, which made his security team nervous.
Some other leaders say the government should explain why they took so long to protect Chouhan.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan's security was upgraded on December 12, nearly a month after the Centre flagged an ISI threat on November 12.
The Ministry of Home Affairs urged the state government and Delhi Police to strengthen Chouhan's security to prevent any incidents.
Chouhan already has Z+ category security, including NSG commandos and trained personnel, with additional state-provided security.
The Congress party criticized the delay, calling it administrative failure and political mismanagement.
There have been multiple incidents where Chouhan's convoy was approached or stopped by protestors, breaching his security perimeter.
