Jan Suraaj Accuses Police of Harassing 16 Leaders
Prashant Kishore, the founder of the Jan Suraaj party, says that police took more than 16 of his party members and kept them in different police stations.
He says the police moved them around without telling anyone where they were.
The leaders were first moved to Danapur and then to Shahpur police station.
No official arrests were made, and no cases were filed.
Kishore thinks the police are being used by the ruling BJP to scare his party before the election.
He still believes his party will win the vote.
Prashant Kishore claims police detained over 16 Jan Suraaj leaders and workers before the Bankipur Assembly by-election.
