Delhi Reviews District Plans to Curb Air Pollution

Delhi officials are making plans to reduce dirty air.

Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa held meetings with officials from four districts.

They will find places where pollution is especially high.

Officials will use air-quality monitoring data to locate these hotspots.

They will check whether dust, traffic, vehicles, construction, burning or other activities are causing the pollution.

Each problem will get a specific plan and a department responsible for fixing it.

Officials must report what they have done and what still needs attention.

The minister plans to check their progress in 15 days.
