India and Belgium Sign Pact for Renewable Energy Cooperation

India and Belgium agreed to work more closely on clean energy.

Their plan includes green hydrogen, offshore wind and ways to recycle important minerals.

They will also explore better batteries, bioenergy and pumped hydro power.

The agreement was made during Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever’s visit to New Delhi.

The countries want companies and researchers to share technology and build stronger supply chains.

India hopes this cooperation will support both cleaner energy and energy security.

The two governments also discussed climate adaptation and protecting oceans.

They said international cooperation and finance are important for helping developing countries address climate change.
