Cordelia Sky Arrives in Mumbai, Doubling Cruise Fleet
Cordelia Sky, a new cruise ship, has arrived in Mumbai.
It is the second ship in the Cordelia Cruises fleet in India.
The company’s first ship, Cordelia Empress, began sailing in India five years ago.
Having another ship means the company can carry more travellers and offer more trips.
Cordelia Sky is larger than its predecessor.
It has more than 1,000 rooms for guests.
There are also restaurants, bars, pools, entertainment spaces and sports facilities.
The ship includes areas for children and teenagers, too.
Cordelia Sky has arrived in Mumbai as the second ship in Cordelia Cruises’ Indian fleet.
Its arrival comes five years after the company began sailing in India with Cordelia Empress.
The addition is expected to increase the company’s capacity and broaden its itinerary options.
Cordelia Sky measures more than 77,000 gross tonnes and 258 metres in length.
The ship has over 1,000 staterooms, 10 restaurants, 11 bars and a 930-seat theatre.
