Trinamool Leader Arrested in Bankura Job Cheating Case

Police in West Bengal arrested Trinamool Congress leader Rajib Ghoshal.

They are investigating claims that people were asked to pay money in exchange for jobs.

Another Trinamool leader, Pallab Pandey, was already arrested over a similar complaint.

One complainant said Pandey took Rs 4.20 lakh but did not provide the promised job or return the money.

Police said Ghoshal’s name came up while investigating that complaint.

Ghoshal was arrested in Kolkata and taken to a court in Bankura.

BJP activists protested during his court appearance.

The investigation is still continuing, and the allegations have not been proven in court.
