Telangana Launches 2026 Calendar Amid Faculty Distress
On Tuesday, the Telangana State Technical College Employees Association (TSTCEA) launched their 2026 calendar at JNTUH in Hyderabad.
The Vice-Chancellor, T Kishan Kumar Reddy, was there to help.
During the event, teachers from private technical colleges talked about their problems.
They said many teachers haven't been paid for months, sometimes up to six months.
Some colleges only paid part of the salary or took money out right after putting it in, which caused a lot of stress for the teachers.
The association hopes that by talking about these issues, they can find a solution to help the teachers.
TSTCEA launched its 2026 calendar at JNTUH in Hyderabad.
Vice-Chancellor T Kishan Kumar Reddy presided over the event.
Faculty representatives raised urgent grievances about staff welfare in private technical institutions.
Primary concern was systemic delay in salary payments, ranging from 2 to 6 months.
