Ukrainian Drone Attack Briefly Disrupts Utilities in Russian City
Imagine Ukraine sent some flying robots (drones) toward a city in Russia called Voronezh.
These robots were meant to cause trouble, possibly by hitting places that provide electricity and heat.
Russia said its systems stopped most of the robots using special technology.
One hit a utility building, causing a small fire that was put out quickly.
Because of this, some people in Voronezh briefly had their power and heating turned down or off.
Thankfully, no one was hurt, and the services were back to normal later.
Russia also mentioned destroying many other drones over different parts of Russia that night.
Ukraine says these kinds of attacks are a way to defend themselves, while Russia calls them terrorism.
An overnight drone attack by Ukraine temporarily disrupted power and heating supplies in the city of Voronezh, Russia.
Governor Alexander Gusev reported that safety measures led to brief changes in central heating and short power cuts, with no injuries.
Several drones were suppressed by electronic warfare, and a fire at a utility facility was quickly extinguished.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported destroying or intercepting 44 Ukrainian drones overall overnight, primarily over the Bryansk region.
Ukraine states its strikes are legitimate self-defense, while Russia calls the attacks terrorism.
