Gold Prices Fall in Multiple Indian Cities, September 4, 2025
On September 4, 2025, gold and silver prices went down in several Indian cities.
The price of 22-carat gold was around ₹97,950 in some cities and ₹98,100 in Delhi, while 24-carat gold was around ₹1,06,850 in some cities and ₹1,07,000 in Delhi.
Silver prices were also lower.
Globally, gold prices also saw a slight decrease.
This change is due to various factors like expectations of interest rate cuts, the US job market, and trade uncertainties.
Also, some central banks are buying more gold.

Gold and silver prices decreased in Vijayawada, Hyderabad and Delhi on September 4, 2025.
22-carat gold prices were around ₹97,950 per 10 grams in Vijayawada and Hyderabad, and ₹98,100 in Delhi, with falls of ₹100.
24-carat gold prices were around ₹1,06,850 per 10 grams in Vijayawada and Hyderabad, and ₹1,07,000 in Delhi, with falls of ₹110.
Silver prices were ₹1,37,000 per kilogram in Vijayawada and Hyderabad and ₹1,27,000 in Delhi.
Global spot gold fell to $3,546.73 per ounce.
