Baloch Groups Claim Attacks on Pakistani Forces

A group called the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) in Pakistan is accusing the country's military of trying to make it seem okay to make people disappear and kill them without proper trials.

The BYC says the military's recent press conference was just a way to justify these actions in the region of Balochistan.

Meanwhile, another group called the Baloch Raaji Aajoi Sangar (BRAS) claims they carried out 174 attacks on Pakistani security forces in 2025, killing 167 military and intelligence personnel.

Other groups like the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) also reported carrying out many attacks, causing significant casualties.

These groups say they are fighting against the Pakistani authorities' actions in Balochistan, which they describe as atrocities including enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings.
