Three Women Missing from Kolkata Home; Police Probe Delay
Three women who lived in a home in Kolkata have gone missing.
One of them is from Bangladesh, one is deaf and mute, and one is from Bihar in India.
The people who run the home waited almost three weeks before telling the police.
Police looked at security camera videos to find out what happened.
The videos show the three women leaving the home very early in the morning with their faces covered.
They used a key to unlock the gate before walking out.
The home's leaders think the women may have been taken by someone.
Police are also checking why the home waited so long to report it.
They are also thinking the woman from Bangladesh might have tried to go back to her country secretly.
Police are still looking for the three women.
Three women, including a Bangladeshi national, went missing from a home on Kolkata's Park Street.
The complaint was filed with Park Street Police Station nearly three weeks after they disappeared.
CCTV footage showed the trio unlocking the gate and leaving with covered faces between 2:00 am and 2:30 am.
The missing women are Runa Begum (31, from Dhaka), Suchitra (39, deaf and mute), and Manisha Kumari (19, from Bihar).
Police are scrutinising the home's authorities and have not ruled out the Bangladeshi woman fleeing via an illegal route.
