Telangana ACB Finds Assets Worth Rs 9.41 Crore in Officer Case

The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau is investigating a government officer named V Narasimha Rao.

It says it found assets worth about Rs 9.41 crore during searches at seven locations.

These assets include land, buildings, vehicles, jewellery and household items.

The recorded values of some properties may be lower than their market values, the ACB said.

Investigators are checking whether the assets came from money Rao could not explain through his known income.

They are also looking into a rice mill that may have been bought under someone else’s name.

The investigation is still underway, so the findings are preliminary.
